They enter the middle of the stadium battlegrounds, "Wallace, you will have to challenge three guardians. The gargoyles, the gryphon, and the mightiest guardian of heaven, the chimera. The gargoyles are strong through numbers but weak by themselves. The gryphon flies through the skies and maintains the policing of the different sections. The chimera protects the warriors entrance, it challenges any warrior before they can enter. The chimera never fights to its full potential, but if it deems the warrior to be strong enough, it will accept them into the warriors' Co

Lost In The Dark: (PART 8) The Overwhelming City

Lost In The Dark   Part 8 : The Overwhelming City              The noise of vehicles stuck in traffic, horns honking, people rushing around. The city brightens the night sky. Time ticks as you walk passed pedestrians ignoring your presence. People go about their day, you bump into others, glares in their eyes as you realize that you can't speak. Neon lights shine through the night, you read a sign that says, "wrong way." Crossing the street to find the right direction to where you need to be, you run into a dead end, forced to go back into the crowded pedestrian walkways. Hesitation fills you as you stare at the impatient pedestrians, pushing, shoving and showing no respect for others. You look in horror as you try to find another path. Your heart races, sweat runs down your cheek as you push through the busy crowd. Stumbling left and right, constantly shoved around like you are just in their way, and are meaningless to them. You run into a sign that says, "Th

Lost In The Dark: (PART 7) The Long Road

Lost In The Dark Part 7 : The Long Road      You started to feel frustrated as the road seems to never end. You spot a fork in the road but never bothered to read the signs,  instead you just randomly walked down the road, in which you felt like it was the right way. Though you don't question yourself or your position on the path. A car horn can be heard from behind you. It surprised you, you are startled and stood straight up with a chill down your entire body. A vehicle pulled up next to you and the window rolled down. You see a person but can't make out who they are. They ask you, “do you need a ride to your destination?” You replied back with, “yes, I have been walking around aimlessly for a while now but don't know how to get to the end of the road. Thank you for taking the time to stop and drive me to my destination”. The person lets you into the car. You buckle up and then the vehicle drives down the road. They play a radio station that you enjoy. You fa

Lost In The Dark: (PART 6) The Lonely Road

Lost In The Dark Part 6 : The Lonely Road       Standing in the middle of the street you begin to walk along the side of the road. The road is in the middle of a desert landscape with cacti and desert wildlife. You are again all alone and no other human being is within the vicinity. The path appears to be smooth and easy to walk along. The air is pleasant and you are kind of thrilled to be by yourself again with no one else to keep getting into your way, stepping on/over you  or pushing ahead of you. Now you can relax as you are finally able to have the road to yourself. This stroll alongside the road is peaceful and quiet. The sight of the animals and plants give you a nice scenery to appreciate as you are on your journey. You stop to admire a few bunny rabbits and sit down to rest your feet. Your ankles are sore and you are exhausted from walking around for miles with no idea where you are going, or if there is an end of the road you are taking. The thoughts never stick with

Lost In The Dark : (PART 2) The Fray

Lost In The Dark Part 2 : The Fray   The rain is pouring heavier than before. You have no clue about what is going on within this world. The two spirits were distorting your own perception of this world. Though you have no idea what is, and isn't based in reality. You say to yourself, “Was it a figment of my imagination?” Though the thoughts never stuck with you, they flutter away from your memory, leaving you alone. The ocean water is too deep, yet you seem to be unable to find a way off of a stranded island. The island is very tiny and holds no vegetation or other lifeforms. You are alone, lost, isolated and delirious. The ocean waters are rushing rapidly around the island, making it difficult to enter the water. Nothing to sleep in, or on. No trees, no life, no sign of safety. You fall asleep on the sand. You are awoken by a loud sound of an explosion that destroyed the entire ocean and lit up the entire night sky. The ocean evaporated and steam ro

Lost In The Dark : (PART 1) The Gloomy Flood Of The Storm

Lost In The Dark : By Vincent Fitch Part 1 : The Gloomy Flood Of The Storm In mid November, on a wet rainy Sunday night, a few people were walking down a street. The wind is blowing the rain. The rain was falling at an angle. The town was flooding from the downpour. The people who are walking down the street vanished from view. The downpour of the rain made it very caliginous. The flooded streets began to resemble a river that is rushing rapidly in two different directions. The rain began to split into four separate directions. It was no longer cloudy, the rain didn't stop even though the dark gloomy clouds vanished completely. The night sky was dark except for the twinkling starlight. The sun and moon were both resting on separate horizons opposite of one another. Houses were being destroyed one by one. The structures of the houses were expanding away from the parts that it was connected with. Staring outside into the darkest twilight. A beating heart, a
