The Shadow Of The Ice Kingdom -- Part 13: Mana Harvesting --             Brett stands before Malthus. Malthus commands, "Brett, I want you to continue absorbing the mana out of the worthless beings. You gained a lot of mana from the plants and animals surrounding the villages and forests. I want you to start harvesting your own peasants' mana too. I want you to gain enough mana to crush Wallace and Sam! I can't grant a straight increase of mana into you, it's not within my abilities, that's Arkana's jurisdiction, but since I told you that all life forms have mana inside of them. You have gathered up enough to stay on even ground as the other champions. I can gradually increase the weakling's Mana the same way I granted you a little bit of my own to take over the kingdom; although, unlike you, it may kill them. Brett, if need be absorb the mana out of the peasants before they explode. You must succeed, at all costs!" Malthus teleports Brett back to th

The Shadow Of The Ice Kingdom - Part 10: Arkana's Superior Power -       With a quick swipe of the hand, Arkana forced the air around him to blast Sam across the training hall, "Good you stood back up. Now, your turn to use the power of wind." Sam closed his eyes and whispered to himself, "I have the mana within me, I just need to focus on the image and direction of where I want to move the air around me towards." Arkana replies, "Yes, but make sure you control the amount of mana being released. Mana interacts with the natural laws of physics. Mana is something that is inside every living cell, no matter the organism. Some beings have greater mana storage, but others lack enough to manifest it, they practically have near zero mana. Your home planet lacks enough mana; although, I granted you enough mana to defeat even my brothers. Hahahahahaha!" He smiles, "You just need to learn how to control it. Over time you will be able to use more and more po

A light brown haired goddess asks, "Has anyone else decided to join the bet and picked, or are going to pick a champion too?" Breaking the silence she continues, "I also have a champion. Lost In The Dark: (PART 4) The Nescient Mist

Lost In The Dark By Vincent Fitch Part 4 : The Nescient Mist     The landscape is consumed by a humid mist. The mist is thick and the humidity makes it feel as if you are sweating; though you are not. The water vapor began to make your skin feel sticky and hot. The mist feels as if you are in a sauna. It is relaxing and soothing. You feel comfortable with being in the steam's mist. You walk around the environment unable to see inches in front of your face. It doesn't bother you; in fact nothing seems to be able to make you feel upset or have any form of emotions. You are feeling tranquility and insouciance. No worries, no fears, no taunting voices, no mysterious advisors harassing. Just you, all alone, blinded by the mist, and the soothing steam’s humidity. You walk around with your head held high and strutting like you know where you are going, but in truth, you have no idea what lies ahead of your own face. Your eyes can't see past a few inches from you. You t
